Our Reservation Policy:
Our restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday to Friday, 7pm to 10:30pm. We are closed on Saturday to Monday and public holidays.
We only serve a set menu, and dinner usually takes about three hours. If you have any dietary requirements, please mention them upon booking.
Please note that bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis and we only accept online reservations through our website. We are not able to respond to any bookings via phone, sms, or voice message due to the high volume of requests.
The maximum number for bookings is 6 people. You will receive an email confirmation once your request is successful.
Our website can get very busy during the time of booking release due to overwhelming response. Please note that if you are unable to select a time on a specific date, this means that all tables are taken, or pending the completion of a booking as customers have 10 minutes to finalise this process. We do apologize for any inconvenience in advance.
We require credit card details to secure your reservation. Unfortunately, experience dictates that we must take this precaution, however nothing will be debited from your card, unless there is a breach in our booking terms and conditions which are outlined below.
Please be aware that we can only guarantee your booking if the original time, date and number of people remain unchanged. Due to the size and layout of our restaurant, we are unable to split the table or reduce numbers. In the event that you cannot make up the number of people as per your initial booking, unfortunately, you will have to give up your table, which will be offered to the next wait listed customer.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, or above instances. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee of $75 per person. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to email@example.com
Bookings are transferrable, however, we require the contact details of the person who will be attending. Please note that the credit card details provided in the initial booking will remain; should there be any issues with the booking transfer, please be aware that our policy will still hold and any fees / charges will apply to the credit card of the original booking.
We would also like to advise that multiple reservations within the month made by the same person will only have the first 2 reservation dates considered. Based on past experience, this is to ensure that everyone gets a fair go at securing a booking. Should you have any enquiries regarding this, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your best contact number and we will be in touch within 48 hours.
Please note that all the bookings must be re-confirmed by management. We will endeavour to contact you about a week prior to your booking, however, should you not hear from us by 48 hours prior to the date, please contact us to confirm your reservation.
Marumo reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed reservations at its discretion.
If your desired date is unavailable, we encourage you to enter your details on our wait list request so we can contact you directly if any availability occurs.

Spring: September 2019 to November 2019
- Spring season is fully booked.
- Due to rising costs, please be advised that our Omakase price will be $75 per person from 1st September 2019. BYO/Corkage will remain as $2.50 per person.
Summer: December 2019 to February 2020
- Summer season is fully booked.
- We will be closed between 17 December 2019 and 3 January 2020 for our end of year break.
Autumn: March 2020 to May 2020
- Reservations will be available online on Monday, 13 January 2020 at 10am(AWST).
